SSND Reflection on Human Rights

SSND Reflection on Human Rights
Monday, December 11, 2023
7:00pm ET, 6:00pm CT

This year on International Human Rights Day (12/10/23), the world will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the UN Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Adopted by the UN General Assembly on December 10, 1948, the UDHR is a milestone document that proclaims the inalienable rights to which everyone is entitled as a human being.

In commemoration of this anniversary, sisters, associates, ministry partners, and friends are invited to come together for a special evening of prayer, reflection, and dialogue around this remarkable document and our SSND commitment to human rights and dignity. Included will be a special reading featuring the images and voices of more than 30 sisters, associates, and friends. The event will take place live on Zoom and will be recorded for later viewing for those unable to take part during the live event.
