For 52 weeks a year, School Sisters of Notre Dame and all women religious give public witness to Christ through a diversity of ministerial works such as teaching, pastoral care, health care, retreat and spirituality programs, and a multitude of other outreach efforts. They often work on the frontlines of global change, striving to improve various aspects of society, especially for those on the margins.
For one week each year, March 8-14, we shine the spotlight on women religious to raise awareness of mission and all the ways Jesus’ goodness is embodied through the lives of Catholic Sisters.

In observance of Catholic Sisters Week, we asked SSND associates, ministry partners, and students to share messages of thanks and gratitude for the presence of SSND in their lives.
