The Vocaciones Hispanas program of the National Catholic Sisters Project is announcing a Vocation Discernment Retreat for Latina Women (ages 21-40) in San Antonio, TX from March 7 – 10, 2019 at the Hilton Airport Hotel. This retreat, Profundo Encuentro: Escuchando Con Un Corazón Abierto-, is designed for those women who are actively involved in vocational discernment, and who feel that God may be calling them to religious life.
Profundo Encuentro will explore the concept of “encuentro” or “encounter”, and invite participants to see how God has invited women to a deep encounter in biblical times, and continues to invite them today, through Scripture, prayer, Liturgy, community, art, music, dance, nature – all aspects of life! Sisters will be present to share their discernment journeys, to talk with the women and to share this experience with them. Profundo Encuentro will accommodate both Spanish and English speaking women – interpreters will be present for the entire retreat.
