United we go out into the whole world, into the tiniest villages, into the poorest dwellings, wherever we are called to bring the Good News of the Reign of God."

Novitiate Reception

Eleven novices were accepted into the School Sisters of Notre Dame's African Novitiate on Aug. 17, 2013, in Sunyani, Ghana. The theme of their reception was "Trusting in God's Love, We Respond to God's Call."

As novices, they will seek to deepen their relationship with Christ, which will be the heart of their religious life. Through solitude, prayer, study, life in community, and some ministry experience, they will get to know more fully the various aspects of SSND life, including the vows of poverty, celibacy and obedience.

Visit our "Become a Sister" section for more information about the steps to becoming a School Sister of Notre Dame.
